Tropical Blue Bamboo - Bambusa chungii

Tropical Blue bamboo.

Absolutely gorgeous to around 30-40 feet. Sometimes called White Bamboo because the new canes are covered with soooo much powder that they appear white. Canes blueish greenish.
A highly sought after and rather spectacular ornamental. Thin walled, the canes are used traditionally for weaving. Please see Barbie for a smaller version.
