Depending on Daylight Savings, we are 2 or 3 hours EARLIER than California
time and 5 or 6 hour earlier than East Coast time. Please do not call
us early in your morning. For our friends in Asia and Australia – it’s
yesterday here, but later in the day. The best solution is for you to

VISITING THE NURSERY
Regretfully we are NOT a botanic garden. We are basically a greenhouse
operation in a very hot, dry, and windy locale, and we do not have beautiful
specimen plants growing here. While we would love to walk around and
talk story with everyone, we have not yet figured out how to do that
and get our work done. Bummer.
HOURS:
Saturday 10:00
- 3:00 - no appointment necessary. Tuesday through Friday -
open by appointment only. Closed Sunday
& Monday.
PLEASE NOTE:
This year our nursery has expanded and we now have
greenhouses in more than one location. Therefore, if you know ahead
of time that you want substantial numbers of certain species, please
let us know before your visit so that we can have those plants here
for you.
 After nearly a century of listening to her master’s voice, Nipper decided that the music industry was just too sleazy so she moved to Hawai’i hoping to become a sushi chef. Unfortunately, her timing was off, and she came to the islands just when tourism was experiencing a bad slump. Fortunately for us, she found her way to the nursery where she has found her real niche as our Director of Humane Resources and Customer Relations. |
